ABOUT THE ENDOW WAMEGO PARTNERSHIP CAMPAIGN

CLICK HERE TO BECOME AN ENDOW WAMEGO PARTNER TODAY!

What is Endow Wamego?
The Endow Wamego Campaign is a way for individuals and companies to partner with the WCF to provide grant monies for local nonprofits and charities today, with a portion being preserved in an endowment fund for future needs of the foundation, our community, and other nonprofits and charities.

An endowment fund means only the interest earnings can be spent, with the principal remaining in perpetuity.

How do I support Endow Wamego?
You can support Endow Wamego by becoming a Partner with the WCF. You can choose to become an annual supporting partner or make a one-time charitable donation.

What are the annual Endow Wamego Partnership Levels?
Endow Wamego Partnership Levels, which are tax deductible as a charitable contribution, are as follows:

Partnership Levels Annual Amount
Corporate Partners ....................... $2,500
Philanthropic Partners ................... $1,250
Community Impact Partners .......... $  500
Sustaining Partners ...................... $  250
Individual/Family Partners ............. $  100

Where will the grant money go?
Donated dollars will go toward essential services in the Wamego area, such as low-income health care, K-12 education, environmental protection, libraries, community centers, parks and recreation, scholarships, recycling, pet and humane shelters, and much more!

Since its inception in 1998 as a 501(c)(3), the WCF has given back hundreds of thousands of dollars to Wamego and surrounding communities, including scholarships; the Fourth of July fireworks display; the new children's train, depot-style shelter house/restrooms, and playground equipment in Wamego City Park; new boat ramp; the Walter P. Chrysler House Visitor Center; youth fishing clinic; Wam-Sag-Man Trail; and Family Life Education, just to name a few.
