WCF Awarded by Kansas Health Foundation August 08, 2006
Wamego Community Foundation was awarded $100,000 in endowed funds from the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) made available to communities which participated in KHF's Kansas Community Leadership Initiative and had a community foundation serving local community organizations. Wamego Community Foundation has joined the Kansas Association of Community Foundations, an association that builds a stronger network of understanding on how citizens are able to keep Kansas wealth in Kansas and Wamego. We continue being frugal and good stewards of the funds that are contributed.
